Kristofer Scott, MA, RCC | Anxiety, Trauma, ADHD & Sleep Counsellor | North Vancouver and virtual counselling
Kristofer Scott is a Registered Clinical Counsellor at Bach Counselling Group, working with adults, youth, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, insomnia, grief, anger, and relational challenges. He has been a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC and holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
Alongside his work at BCG, Kristofer works as a counsellor within a secondary school setting — a parallel role that keeps him directly connected to the pressures facing young people and the families around them. That parallel role gives him direct, current insight into how anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and stress present in youth and young adult populations.
ADHD is a particular focus of Kristofer’s practice. He has completed extensive training across the full scope of ADHD work — assessment, treatment, executive functioning, neurological frameworks, and the relational and occupational impacts of ADHD in adolescents and adults. He works with clients to build practical strategies that address both the functional challenges and the emotional experience of living with ADHD, including its intersection with anxiety, relationships, and self-regulation.
Kristofer is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) — the gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for chronic insomnia and sleep disorders — and integrates this with broader stress and self-regulation work for clients whose sleep difficulties are linked to anxiety or burnout.
His clinical approach integrates EMDR, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, the Gottman Method, and Adult Attachment, informed by training in Biopsychosocial Pain Assessment, Advanced Self-Regulation, and Complex PTSD. He holds certification in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), Violence Threat Risk Assessment, and has completed a training in Psychopharmacology Essentials.
Kristofer sees clients at BCG’s North Vancouver office and offers virtual counselling throughout BC.
