Romy Blumberg offers evidence-informed counselling to youth, and young adults navigating anxiety, life’s transitions and challenges. With a background as a qualified teacher and extensive experience in both educational and community settings with youth, Romy brings a deep understanding of developmental and relational dynamics to her work with clients.
Romy integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and self-compassion-focused therapy with a clear focus on client goals. She works with clients to address issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, immigration stress, parenting concerns, and relationship difficulties.
Within the safe therapeutic space clients feel heard, understood, and develop new and improved relationship with self and other, more assertive communication skills and positive behaviour change. Her style is warm, personalized, and goal-oriented—helping clients identify strengths, overcome obstacles, and move toward meaningful change and greater self-confidence.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or in need of a space to reflect on and identify your issues and solutions, Romy welcomes you with ease and reassurance.
